Chemotechnique Diagnostics also offers a handheld UV Lamp for easy reading of fluorescent markings. The UV Lamp can also be used as a tool for detecting Pityriasis Versicolor, Tinea Capitis, Erythrasma and when investigating alterations of the patient’s pigmentation.

The UV Lamp is very easy to handle - it weighs 193 grams with batteries and can easily be carried in one hand - which enables the patch tester to work freely with the other hand. The lamp is reliable and can be handled with normal precaution.

The UV-Lamp needs to be charged with four 1,5 volts batteries, type LR6, size AA. The Lamp is delivered without batteries.

The UV Skin Marker and the UV Lamp fit together, but are ordered separately. We strongly believe that the UV Skin Marker and the UV Lamp will be a good alternative, when normal colour marking of the skin is problematic.
