Analgesic, antipyretic, anti-rheumatic agent, manufacture of polymer plastics, lacquers, waxes, polishes, adhesives, in suntan oils and creams, light absorber to prevent discoloration of plastics. In veterinary use as external disinfectant and intestinal antiseptic agent.
